Nottingham Forest v Brighton and Hove Albion: Match preview

Nottingham Forest v Brighton and Hove Albion: Match previewIn the wake of Brighton’s trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, Gus Poyet has declared Adam El-Abd, Sam Vokes and Gai Assulin fit.

El-Abd was out of Tuesday night’s clash against Derby with sickness and Aussilin was also out with a groin injury but the pair are both back and ready for action, as is Vokes, who was substituted last time out clutching his calf.

Poyet told seagulls.co.uk, “Adam is fit. He was sick for a couple of days but he was training on Tuesday and he is fully fit. Gai didn’t play on Tuesday as a precaution but he is fully fit and training today as well, then Sam just suffered cramp.

“We have a lot of players available again and there are more decisions for the manager, which we like.”

Will Buckley did miss Tuesday’s win over Derby through sickness, and Poyet will be assessing his fitness before the clash tomorrow.

Poyet continued: “Will was suffering from a virus like Adam and he’s still not feeling 100 per cent so he is the only doubt for Saturday.”

Brighton are currently in fourth place and they will be hoping that they can keep up their good run of form in order to maintain their push for promotion.
