Brighton and Hove Albion summer transfer rumours have started alreadyBrighton and Hove Albion are aiming to hold on to a few members of their squad who have been linked with moves away from the Amex Stadium this summer.

Various websites have been reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing young defender Grant Hall and other sires are saying that Brighton have turned down a bid from Barnsley for club captain Gordon Greer.

Sky Sports reported that Hall, who made his debut for the Seagulls this season, is out of contract this summer and has yet to agree a new deal at the Amex Stadium.

They continued saying that news of the breakdown in negotiations has alerted Spurs to Hall’s potential availability after they sent scouts to watch him on several occasions this season.

Gus Poyet, however, would not want to lose Hall, who is seen as a great prospect for the future at Brighton.

Another player who has been stirring up interest is Gordon Greer, and Sporting Life have reported that Albion turned down an offer from Barnsley for their captain.

The website stated that the offer was below £100,000 which is deemed by the club to be far too small for a player of Greer’s calibre.

So, Brighton fans are worrying about keeping their best players, but they can become excited about the potential signing of Joe Mattock on a permanent deal.

Sports Mole reported that the Seagulls are interested in signing the young left back who impressed after spending the second half of last season on loan with the club.
