Fatboy Slim’s Big Beach Bootique: Getting Here And Getting Home


Please arrive at the Amex early to enjoy the atmosphere & miss the inevitable stress of travelling during rush hour, especially on the Friday. Doors open at 3pm.

Make sure you have booked your parking space and your accommodation before it’s too late.

Please use public transport as both buses & trains will be running services to get you to the Amex to enjoy the Big Beach Bootique 5.

Use the dedicated taxi & car drop off area if you can’t use public transport. Please don’t try to get dropped off anywhere else.


The show ends at 10:30pm. The music will keep playing & the bars will stay open until 11:30pm so no need to rush off if you don’t need to…

Please note, Falmer Train Station will be closed from 10pm.

There will be no trains back to Brighton or Lewes after this time for you to use. If you need to catch a train make sure you have made suitable plans.

Shuttle Buses will be provided to get you back to your car or into the city.

Taxi & car pick up points will be provided.

We want everyone to enjoy the first concert at the Amex, including the local residents. Please be respectful & patient at all times.


WALKING: There are excellent footways connecting the city with the American Express Community Stadium. If you live nearby then this is the easiest way to get to the venue.

CYCLING: The Lewes Road Bike Train will be running an escorted cycle ride from The Level via Lewes Road with a further pick up point at Moulescoomb Library. There will also be an escorted ride back to The Level after the show. If you do walk or cycle please be sensible if you have a drink!

TRAINS: There are services every 10 mins from Brighton & 15 mins from Lewes. Both stations provide connections along the south coast & from London. Please note that there are no late trains from either station back to London. Falmer station closes at 10pm so please ensure that you give yourself enough time to make your connecting train. DON’T FORGET FALMER STATION WILL BE CLOSED FROM 10PM

Shuttle Buses: There will be a special Shuttle Service for BBB5 Ticket Holders which will depart Brighton city centre and the AMEX Stadium. The Shuttle Buses will be free to all ticket holders (just show your ticket) and will run between Old Steine/Valley Gardens in Brighton (map) and the AMEX. There will be a fleet of these buses waiting as the show ends to transport ticket holders back into Brighton.
Public Buses: The city has the best bus network in the country outside London. The no. 25 bus runs from the city centre to the venue every six mins.
No. 25 – Portslade / Hove / Brighton / Universties (AMEX)
No. 28 – Brighton / Lewes (via Universities/AMEX)
No. 29 – Brighton / Lewes (via Universities/AMEX)

CAR PARKING: There is no free parking near the stadium & local streets will have parking restrictions. If you do wish to drive then please buy a ticket for our car parks or park & ride sites. All parking is allocated on a first come first serve basis & must be booked in advance. WITHOUT PRE-BOOKING THERE IS NO PARKING

Park & Ride sites are £5 per car
Near site parking is £10 per car
Privilege Parking is £20 per car

DISABLED PARKING: There is no charge for Blue Badge Holders for this event so contact us on 0845 873 0251 or customer.services@bhafc.co.uk if you have a valid badge & wish to reserve a space. Don’t delay as space is limited. If you have no other option but to be dropped off or collected then please ensure that you use the dedicated area at the venue. Do not attempt to be dropped off on the A27 as you will receive a parking ticket. More importantly you will be putting yourself in real danger.
