Brighton Pride Companion Dog Show looking to break last year’s record entries

Brighton Pride Companion Dog Show looking to break last year’s record entriesDog lovers from all over the country will be heading to Hove Rugby Football Club Old Shoreham Road on Sunday, 3rd July for this year’s Pride Companion Dog Show.

The organizers are hoping to see hundreds of happy dogs enrolled in the wide variety of classes, both pedigree, condition and novelty, and aim to beat last year’s record entry of more than 600 pooches.

The Pride Companion Dog Show gets bigger and better every year, and is a great day out for all the family, whether you have a dog or not!

Spectators, who get in for free, can enjoy a fun day in the park watching the judging of the categories, browsing the numerous trade stands and being entertained by a range of displays and activities.

However for those of you who are more serious about your dog shows the day out will have enough to keep your tail wagging all day. Well-known Kennel Club judge Gary Gregory will be attending the event and will be casting his all knowing eye over the proceedings judging the pedigree classes.

Coastway Veterinary Team will be judging the condition classes and the novelty classes, including the wiggliest tail will be judged by Brighton’s very own Miss Jason.

Alongside the main categories there will also be other dog themed entertainment, including an agility display courtesy of Coastway, a guide dog demonstration and “Go Walkies” walk from The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and a guest appearance from Mugly, Britain’s ugliest dog!
